Camanos are well built, seaworthy and economical cruising trawlers popular on both coasts of the United States and Canada. They come in two sizes, the Camano 31 (28 feet on deck) and the Camano 41 (40 feet on deck). Production of the 31/28 Camano began in 1991 in British Columbia and by 2012, 271 had been built. Seven Camano 41s were built. Both designs have a unique “Keelform” hull designed to provide the performance advantages of both a displacement hull and a planning hull. Both the Camano 31 and 41 have large flybridges and spacious interiors. All Camanos are powered by single, skeg-protected diesel engines and all have bow thrusters.
