The following By-Laws of the East Coast Camano Owners (ECCO) have been established by ECCO members during business meetings at annual ECCO rendezvous. Changes to the By-Laws require approval by a majority of attending members at the annual rendezvous business meeting.

1. ECCO membership is open to all current Camano owners, current members who have sold or are selling their Camanos, and “other persons”, hereby known as ‘Guest Members’, who have a serious interest in buying a Camano when completing a ECCO membership application. (See article 10 for details on membership dues.) 2. ECCO elected officers are defined as President, Vice President, Treasurer. 2a. Voting is limited to one vote per boat regardless of how many people are owners of the same boat and/or how many people are in the owner’s family. 2b. An ECCO Owner/Member who joined the ECCO organization as a Camano owner is eligible to cast one vote. A ‘Guest Member’ who does not own a Camano when joining the ECCO organization is not eligible to vote. 3. Appointed positions are Website Manager, Bulletin Board Manager and Rondy Coordinator. 4. Any Honorary or dues-paying member is eligible to become an ECCO officer. 5. At least one annual rendezvous will be held with a business meeting. 6. ECCO will maintain a website and a password protected bulletin board. 7. Annual elections of all ECCO officers will be held at the annual rendezvous business meeting. 8. There are no succession rules for elected officers. 9. Honorary members are elected by a majority of attending members during the business meeting of the annual rendezvous. Honorary members are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the Camano trawler and/or ECCO and are exempt from paying dues. 10. Membership dues for Owner/Members and ‘Guest Members’ are $25 per family regardless of the size and/or composition of the family. Increasing membership dues requires approval by a majority of attending member during a business meeting of an annual rendezvous. 11. The ECCO Treasurer will provide a report of ECCO’s financial position at each rendezvous. This report will be made available to members on request. 12. The ECCO President will provide a report of current membership at each rendezvous. 13. The ECCO membership directory will be posted on the Bulletin Board. 14. ECCO will provide an ECCO burgee for purchase by members.
