The East Coast Camano Owners (ECCO) association was formed in 2001. As of fall 2011, our membership represented more than 70 boats. While many of our members are in fact living and cruising along the U.S. Eastern seaboard, ECCO members live throughout the United States andCanada, and even England, the Cayman Islands and Sweden. States represented include Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington and Wisconsin. ECCO president is Al Rossiter Jr., of Washington, N.C. Vice president is Paul Martin of New Bern, N.C., and the treasurer is Lou Black, of Annandale, Va.

A password-protected bulletin board with archives containing owner questions and answers about a wide variety of Camano systems, and cruises.
The bulletin board now includes an updated Owners' Handbook, maintenance tips and detailed, illustrated instructions for key maintenance items. Discussion areas include Electronics/Electrical; Engines; Help and Advice; Hull and Exterior Items; Interior; Systems; Marina and Cruise Info; Parts, Spares and Service; Running Gear; and Handbook and Maintenance.
An annual Camano rendezvous. Ten have been held so far, with four in North Carolina and six in the Chesapeake Bay region. In addition, two southern rendezvous have been held in Florida. The 2008 ECCO rendezvous was held in Solomons, MD, and the 2009 rondy was held in Yorktown, VA. The 2010 and 2011 rendezvous were held in Portsmouth, VA, and the 2012 rendezvous will be held in New Bern, NC.

ECCO welcomes all Camano owners and previous owners of Camanos regardless of location. Annual dues are $25 per boat. To join, click on the membership form above, print it, and fill it out. You may also receive a form via email by sending your request to info@eastcoastcamanoowners.com. Please send the completed form, along with a $25 check made out to ECCO, to ECCO, 148 Riverboat Drive, Washington, N.C. 27889.
