In 2001 - The first get together of Camano Owners was October 26-28, 2001 at IYC in Columbia NC. The objective of this rendezvous was to establish an East Coast Camano Cruising Club. Pat Hunt Hull 152 CINJEN was excited to take the leadership role to create the new group with 17 Charter Members. The first Newsletter was dated December 2001.

In 2002 - By April 2002 the group had selected a name, East Coast Camano Owners - ECCO; an official burgee designed by Sally Stiles Hull 59 HAIKU and had 29 members. That same month the first Official ECCO Newsletter sporting its Burgee was published. ECCO Decals were announced in June and in 2002.

The ECCO met twice in 2002. The first was at Coles Point Marina in Coles Point VA, it was the coldest July any of us had seen! The second Rondy where we had the FIRST official meeting of the East Coast Camano Owners was held in mid-September 2002 during a Rendezvous at Dowry Creek Marina in Belhaven, NC, 17 members were present. Funds were approved for an ECCO website, Pat worked with J. Bielski to set up the site.

In 2003 - The ECCO held their Rendezvous in June at the Rondy in Gloucester, VA at the York River Yacht Haven Marina. At that meeting the membership approved a Tips & Discussion addition to the website and the Bulletin Board was up and running in the third quarter of 2003; Lewis Hunt took the leadership role and established the BB function.

In 2004 there were two (2) Rendezvous; the first in April at Manatee Pocket in Stuart FL and the second in June at Dowry Creek in Belhaven, NC. Pat had been Pres. & Treas and asked for a volunteer to be Treasurer, Lou Back accepted the Treasurer position.

In 2005 the Rondy was held at the Bluewater Marina in Hampton, VA

In 2006 the ECCO Rondy was held at the City Docks in Washington, NC.

In 2007 the Rendezvous was at Smithfield Station in Smithfield, VA

In 2008 the ECCO met for the Rondy in Solomons, MD

In 2009 the Rendezvous was held at the City Docks at Yorktown, VA

In 2010 the ECCO met at the Tidewater Marina in Portsmouth, VA

In 2011 the Rondy was held at Tidewater Marina in Portsmouth VA

In 2012 New Bern, NC was the location for the Rondy, the leadership was passed back to Pat Hunt from Al. 26 owner/members attended (45 people 10 boats).

In 2013 at Portsmouth VA 18 owner/members attended. Pat Hunt requested 2014 Rondy be in Florida for the Florida owner/members and it was approved.

In 2014 at The Marina at Hammock Beach Resort Palm Coast FL; 11 owner/members attended

In 2015 the ECCO members met at the Grand Dunes Marina in Myrtle Beach South Carolina

In 2016 the Camano Owner/Members met in Hampton VA in the Crowne Plaza Hotel

In 2017 again the ECCO Rendezvous was held in Hampton VA at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  The ECCO By-Laws were drafted and approved by the members present at the Rendezvous.  Only one (1) Camano was able to make it due to high winds

In 2018 the Camano Owner/Members met at the Holiday Inn in Solomons, MD.
